Why do I like Lyda Morehouse's LINKAngel books?
Because they're different. Because I don't know how to categorize them. Because they're made of a crazy mix of sci-fi and religious mythology which surprisingly works. Because I'm an Internet junkie myself and the vision of a whole world connected through a world wide web is not too far-fetched for me.
I discovered Archangel Protocol some time ago in my favorite second-hand bookstore, Booksale, and was intrigued by the cover. Hey wait a minute, is that a matrix? Hey wait a minute, that's an angel. An archangel. In the computer matrix. What's it doing there? I picked the book up, couldn't put it down, and made another great purchase.
So, my teaser for today is:
"I reached up to caress the hard almond-shaped lump at my temple. Maybe if I squeezed just right, the implant would eke out some last drop of code, like a used tube of toothpaste."

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
