So, yes, well. I've added to my "comfort dramas" list in the meantime. You know which ones I'm referring to... the dramas you tend to go back and rewatch when you're down, or you need to relax, or you need to laugh, or you just need some inspiration. Sometimes I just rewatch an episode or scene that I particularly liked, like spending some time with old friends.

Lol, I suddenly realized that four out of five of these dramas are gender-benders. :D

5. Ma Boy

Starring: Kim So-hyun and TOUCH's Sunwoong
Why I like to rewatch it: This is a light-hearted teen mini-drama that always leaves me smiling. It only has three episodes, which is good for a quick fix, and the premise is really well-executed-- at least, it's an improvement on the original manga that I'm sure it was based on. Kim So-hyun shows a lighter side after all the heavy drama roles we're used to her portraying, and Sunwoong brings his character to life very well, considering this is his first big role.

4. Ouran High School Host Club

Starring: Kawaguchi Haruna, Yamamoto Yusuke, Daito Shunsuke, Chiba Yudai, Nakamura Masaya, Takagi Shinpei and Takagi Manpei.
Why I like to rewatch it: The manga is one of my favorites, and I'm glad the drama and the movie sequel lived up to my expectations! It also introduced me to Kawaguchi Haruna, who has become one of the Japanese actresses I look out for. Don't have dire thoughts about the "host club" in the title, people... it's a great satire, and the characters' wacky antics always leave me in stitches. Choose your ideal from among the fast-talking prince Tamaki (do I detect shades of my favorite Elizabeth Peters character type, Sir John Smythe, in his makeup?), cold genius Kyoya, strong silent type Mori, boyish charmer Hunny, and naughty twins Hikaru and Kaoru.

3. To The Beautiful You

Starring: f(x)'s Choi Sulli, SHINee's Choi Min-ho, and Lee Hyun-woo
Why I like to rewatch it: Lovely colors, lovely soundtrack, lovely shots. Cute scenes. Light and funny stuff, and a familiar story. I might need to leave my brain elsewhere for a while, but then sometimes that's the point. And I guess, in spite of all the boo-boos, what always touches me about this (or any other) Hana Kimi adaptation is Jae-hee's unwavering faith in Tae-joon being a winner and Tae-joon gradually bringing himself around to justifying that faith.

2. You're Beautiful

Starring: Park Shin-hye, Jang Geun-suk, CNBlue's Jung Yong-hwa, F.T. Island's Lee Hong-ki
Why I like to rewatch it: Do I really need a reason to watch You're Beautiful aside from the fact that it's a crack-tastic drama about a young novice (yes, a nun) who somehow ends up pretending to be a member of a K-pop idol group? Fine, if you insist. Pig-rabbit. Shin-woo hyung. Jeremy's antics. The scrapes Minyeo gets into as Minam. Tae-kyung's facial expressions. Fanfic references. Music! That this drama also introduced me to CNBlue and FT Island is a big plus.

1. ToGetHer (Superstar Express)

Starring: Rainie Yang and Fahrenheit's Jiro Wang
Why I like to rewatch it: Rainie's my go-to Taiwanese actress, and I love her roles. I started watching this drama because of her, and then I got invested in the characters -- introvert Momo whose world gets turned upside down with the arrival of vain-to-the-point-of-being-silly, idol-star-on-the-downturn MARS. It's lovely seeing her bring out MARS's real, better self just by being herself, and seeing her learn to trust another person and let him into her world. Ultimately, the whole drama is about faith and trust, and that never fails to warm my heart. Oh, and the song which is a highlight of the drama is pure love. And... I can haz moar Jiro Wang pleez?

Geurae. It has been a while since I made that last post, and I've added quite a number of songs to my playlist in the meantime. Oh, who am I kidding. It's been almost a year! New songs get made, old goodies get rediscovered. So how have I updated my playlist in the meantime? You know my playlist is mostly made up of songs I've heard in dramas, right?

15. One More Time - Tree Bicycle

Drama: Boys Over Flowers

Country: South Korea

Lyrics: http://videokeman.com/boys-over-flowers/one-more-time-tree-bicycles-boys-over-flowers

Translation: http://lyricsalls.blogspot.com/2009/07/tree-bicycles-one-more-time-ost-boys.html

I know, it's an old song but it grew on me after I listened to it a few times. The melody is really catchy. I found myself humming it and singing some of the lyrics and then I had to go back and recall what song I heard them from. So I figured I might as well put it on my playlist.

14. Living Like A Dream - Jaejoong

Drama: Dr. Jin

Country: South Korea

Lyrics: http://jyj3.net/2012/05/24/lyrics-dr-jin-ost-living-like-a-dream-kim-jae-joong/

Because basically whenever Jaejoong is in a drama or sings one of the OSTs, I end up listening to the soundtrack. I wasn't able to finish Dr. Jin, but the song has stayed with me.

13. For You It's Separation, For Me It's Waiting - Jaejoong

Drama: Sungkyunkwan Scandal

Country: South Korea

Lyrics: http://southkoreaaddict.blogspot.com/2011/08/for-you-its-separation-to-me-its.html

Another Jaejoong song, but then I love Sungkyunkwan Scandal so much-- the drama is one of my all-time favorites.

12. Geurae Useobwa (So Give Me A Smile) - M Signal

Drama: Heartstrings (You've Fallen For Me)

Country: South Korea

Lyrics: http://ragamuffinlyrics.blogspot.com/2011/08/m-signal-m-geurae-useobwa-heartstrings.html

Yes, so why wasn't this on the first list? It's because it took me a while to appreciate it, with all the CNBlue songs on the YFFM soundtrack. But now it's the song that starts off my playlist because it's a nice way to start the day.

11. I Will Protect You - Jaejoong

Drama: Protect the Boss

Country: South Korea

Lyrics: http://pinkrazy.wordpress.com/2011/08/10/jyj-jaejoong-ill-protect-you-lyrics-and-translation/

The first Jaejoong song that made it to this playlist, actually. Why are his songs so pensive? But this one is nice when you need a background to think to.

10. Let's Walk Together - TOUCH

Drama: Ma Boy

Country: South Korea

Lyrics: http://kpoplyric.chikicicok.com/touch/lyric-lets-walk-together-by-touch-rom-eng

Well, I really don't know if Ma Boy has an official soundtrack, but since this song does appear in the drama, and I tend to associate it with the drama (especially with the music video), it ended up on my drama playlist. I liked Ma Boy, and this is a nice upbeat song.

9. I Should Love You - Jiro Wang

Drama: Drama Go Go Go

Country: Taiwan

Lyrics: http://top10pinyinlyrics.blogspot.com/2012/09/jiro-wang-dong-cheng-wo-ying-gai-qu-ai.html

Translation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sc-qDl1nAnY

Ah, Jiro. Where have you been all my life? :D I'm currently on a Jiro Wang kick, so I've been catching up on his dramas, and naturally, the soundtracks. Drama Go Go Go tends to get draggy after a while, but the song is good! Can't find an authoritative translation, but if you watch it subbed, there's a good translation.

8. NAMInoYUKUSAKI - The Ricecookers

Drama: Keizoku 2: SPEC

Country: Japan

Lyrics: http://www.jpopasia.com/group/thericecookers/lyrics/nami-no-yukusaki/nami-no-yukusaki-english-version::37220.html

Ah yes, this song grew on me after I started watching SPEC. Which, I admit, I'm watching (I'm not through with it yet, these things take time) mainly because I'm also catching up on Kamiki Ryunosuke's work. That kid is something special when it comes to acting, and he's what, nineteen? This song is awesome, as well. Love the beat.

7. Pretend We Never Loved - Jiro Wang

Drama: Absolute Darling

Country: Taiwan

Lyrics: http://chunsangel.blogspot.com/2012/04/lyric-jia-zhuang-wo-men-mei-ai-guo.html

Another Jiro song (and I love the video). I haven't watched Absolute Darling or any of its previous incarnations because I can't bear sad stories, but I know what it's about and I did read the manga off and on. Just from his previous works that I've seen, Jiro's a good choice for the Naito character because he has this dual air of hotness and innocent charm-- a potent combination. No, that's totally not the fangirl in me speaking. The song is also spot on.

6. Closer - Taeyeon

Drama: To The Beautiful You

Country: South Korea

Lyrics: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhTEgFZC6fk

Another song that grew on me-- another addition to my lullaby playlist. Sweet and wistful and lovely to listen to. I know TTBY was a mess-- it was a pretty mess, though, the actors were cute, and the soundtrack is lovely.

5. Stand Up - J Min

Drama: To The Beautiful You

Country: South Korea

Lyrics: http://kromanized.com/2012/08/15/rom-eng-lyrics-j-min-stand-up-%EC%9D%BC%EC%96%B4%EB%82%98

Another nice upbeat song to start the day. I already said I love the TTBY soundtrack, didn't I? :D

4. My Love - Lee Jonghyun

Drama: A Gentleman's Dignity

Country: South Korea

Lyrics: http://kromanized.com/2012/07/07/rom-eng-lyrics-lee-jong-hyun-cnblue-my-love-%EB%82%B4-%EC%82%AC%EB%9E%91%EC%95%84-a-gentlemans-dignity-ost

Loved this song from the first time I heard it. I watched AGD off and on... mostly Collin (Lee Jonghyun)'s parts. :D Yes, I'm a CNBlue fan and it shows. Jonghyun won a Best Soundtrack award with this song, which makes me doubly happy. His songs (see I Will Forget You in the previous list for another example) are often sad, but they have this underlying strength, and there's always a ray of hope at the end ("Even if I cry now, I will smile a little later"; "My love whom I'm grateful for, who I will remember even if I erase everything else..."), which makes me predict confidently that they're going to be around for a long, long time.

3. In Your Eyes - Onew

Drama: To The Beautiful You

Country: South Korea

Lyrics: http://kromanized.com/2012/08/22/rom-eng-lyrics-onew-in-your-eyes

As always... this song grew on me. Lovely rendition by Onew, the melody is catchy, and I keep finding myself humming it at odd times.

2. It's Me - Sunny & Luna

Drama: To The Beautiful You

Country: South Korea

Lyrics: http://kromanized.com/2012/08/22/rom-eng-lyrics-sunny-luna-its-me-%EB%82%98%EC%95%BC

Catchy as heck, and it captures TTBY very well. :D

1. Mo Mo - Fahrenheit

Drama: ToGetHer

Country: Taiwan

Lyrics: http://miroticdbsk.blogspot.com/2009/02/fahrenheit-mo-mo-translated-lyrics.html

This is currently the most-played song on this playlist-- it both starts and ends my day. I already said I'm on a Jiro Wang kick, didn't I... and this is the song that started it all. I admit I started watching ToGetHer mainly because I like Rainie Yang, but I ended up watching it right through to the end because the characters were really something special. I love that drama, and this song is lovely and very important to the story. I like the Billasubs translation best, because I think it's the one that best expresses MARS's feelings for Momo, but I can't find a copy of it, so I guess those who want to see that translation will have to watch the drama first.

Last Song Syndrome (LSS) is a term that was coined to refer to that song you can't get out of your head, the one you find yourself humming or singing mindlessly all through the day. Sounds familiar? Because I love TV series so much, I find that their soundtracks are the songs that keep giving me LSS... so why not share the love? What's your LSS playlist? Here's mine.
15. Me Huele A Soledad - MDO
Drama: La Mujer De Judas (Altagracia)
Country: Venezuela
Lyrics: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/m/mdo/me_huele_a_soledad.html
(Cannot find an authoritative translation)

La Mujer De Judas, or Altagracia, was shown in the Philippines in the early 2000s. That's how long I've been carrying this song around in my head! I loved this drama because it was something different - a romance mystery / suspense / ghost story. Also, there was Juan Carlos Garcia, who played Salomon. It's the first foreign-language song (aside from English) that I learned by heart.

14. Himig ng Pag-ibig - Yeng Constantino
Drama: Diyosa
Country: Philippines
Lyrics: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/a/asin/himig_ng_pag_ibig.html

I already loved the original version by Asin, but when I first heard this version, I loved it. I didn't watch Diyosa that much, but I could listen to this song forever.

13. A Goose's Dream - Suzy
Drama: Dream High
Also sung by Insooni for Beethoven Virus
Country: South Korea
Lyrics: http://kreah-craze.com/gooses-dream-lyrics-singer-insooni-beethoven-virus/

I think Insooni sang it first, but I first heard it in Dream High, so I'm going with Suzy. That scene where her character Hye Mi reprises the song for Eun Jung's character Baek Hee is one of my favorites in the drama. Plus, it's a song about having dreams and standing by them, so all in all, it's not a bad song to have stuck in your head.

12. Love is Punishment - K. Will
Drama: Shining Inheritance (Brilliant Legacy)
Country: South Korea
Lyrics: http://watchmyblog.wordpress.com/2010/01/23/love-is-punishment-%E2%80%93-k-will/

It's a sad song and rather sentimental, but Shining Inheritance is special to me because it caused my k-drama addiction and made me a Lee Seung Gi fan. :D

11. Star - Kang Min Hyuk
Drama: Heartstrings (You've Fallen For Me)
Country: South Korea
Lyrics: http://cnbluestorm.com/2011/07/06/audiolyricstrans-cnblue%E2%80%99s-kang-minhyuk-%E2%80%9Cstar%E2%80%9D-for-%E2%80%98heartstrings%E2%80%99-ost/

A simple song, really, but very infectious. Plus, Kang Min Hyuk has a charming voice. This drama accounts for a lot of my LSS songs, really, so kudos to whoever chose, wrote, and composed the soundtrack!

10. Promise - A.N. Jell
Drama: He's Beautiful (You're Beautiful)
Country: South Korea
Lyrics: http://www.emagasia.com/korean-songs-and-lyrics-anjell-promise

A.N.Jell is the name of the band in the drama, made up of Tae Kyung (Jang Geun Suk), Shin Woo (Jung Yong Hwa), Jeremy (Lee Hong Ki) and Minam (Park Shin Hye). I love this drama because it's funny and cute, and the song always makes me go and watch it again. Oh, and it made me a fan of the JYH-PSH couple, and also of CN Blue and FT Island. Talk of the ripple effect, yes?

9. Jaywalking - Sung Joon
Drama: Shut Up Flower Boy Band
Country: South Korea
Lyrics: http://chacha-31.blogspot.com/2012/02/hangulromanization-sung-jun-jaywalking.html#axzz1y4NpCPxu
Translation: http://zafirahoney.blogspot.com/2012/02/jaywalking-sung-joon-english.html

I regret I still haven't watched SUFBB yet, but from all accounts it's quite good. This song is a little too rock than my usual listening fare, but it's catchy, and there's always that last verse: Nae nae nae nae gaseumi teok... My my my my heart goes thud. Thud indeed.

8. The Person Living In My Heart - Yi Soo
Drama: Shining Inheritance (Brilliant Legacy)

Country: South Korea
Lyrics: http://yuyaindou.blogspot.com/2010/03/person-living-in-my-heart-lyric-isu-mc.html

Another song from Shining Inheritance, as it's also the first K-drama whose soundtrack I paid attention to. This is more upbeat than Love Is Punishment, at least; a song I find myself humming when I feel happy.

7. Dream High - Dream High cast
Drama: Dream High
Country: South Korea
Lyrics: http://elduaha.wordpress.com/2011/04/12/lyrics-dream-high-ost-hangul-romanizationtranslation/

Another song from Dream High-- its title theme, in fact. Also another upbeat song about dreams... I guess we can never have enough of those.

6. I Will Forget You - Park Shin Hye
Drama: Heartstrings (You've Fallen For Me)

Country: South Korea
Lyrics: http://genoveva280996.blogspot.com/2011/04/cn-blue-ill-forget-you-lyrics.html

Another interesting bit of meta in this drama, because this song was originally by CN Blue, whose lead singer Jung Yong Hwa plays Lee Shin. The CN Blue version is sung by Lee Jong Hyun, though, not Yong Hwa. It really is so LSS-inducing that I found myself memorizing it without meaning to! There's also an English version, Teardrops in the Rain, but the lyrics don't have the same meaning... it's pretty, but I like the Korean lyrics better.

5. Winter Child - Suzy
Drama: Dream High
Country: South Korea
Lyrics: http://kpopquote.wordpress.com/2011/03/14/lyric-winter-child-suzy-miss-a-hangul-romanization-english/

The first Korean song I memorized. There. :D Short and sweet, and because I was born during the Christmas season, I've kind of appropriated it for my own.

4. Smile (Comfort Song) - Jung Yong Hwa
Drama: Heartstrings (You've Fallen For Me)

Country: South Korea
Lyrics: http://cnbluestorm.com/2011/08/11/lyrics-heartstrings-%EB%84%8C-%EB%82%B4%EA%B2%8C-%EB%B0%98%ED%96%88%EC%96%B4-jung-yonghwa-comfort-song-%EC%9B%83%EC%96%B4%EB%B4%90/

The second Korean song I memorized. When I have trouble sleeping, this is the song I listen to, because it's so sweet. And it's the biggest reason why I love this simple little drama so much!

3. Suddenly - Kim Bo Kyung
Drama: City Hunter
Country: South Korea
Lyrics: http://michyeoga.wordpress.com/2011/06/24/city-hunter-ostpart4kim-bo-kyung-suddenly/

And just like that, this song was suddenly in my head. :D I like Kim Bo Kyung's voice because it sounds tough and sweet and full of emotion, and I find myself humming this song at odd times. It drives me crazy because I then have to go look up the lyrics since I can never get them right. LOL.

2. You've Fallen For Me - Jung Yong Hwa
Drama: Heartstrings (You've Fallen For Me)
Country: South Korea
Lyrics: http://irena040506.wordpress.com/2011/07/17/jung-yonghwa-youve-fallen-for-me-lyrics-translation/

The happy song for me. :D It never fails to lift my mood (gomapseubnida, Jung Yong Hwa-sshi)-- so when I'm humming it, that means I feel good!

1. Alone - Shimokawa Mikuni
TV Series: Gensomaden Saiyuki
Country: Japan
Lyrics: http://www.animelyrics.com/anime/gsaiyuki/alone.htm

Ha. Bet that threw you for a loop. This has got to be the most-played song on my personal playlist, that's how much I love it. It's from my favorite anime, and it's the only Japanese song that I've learned so far.

Special mention: You'll Be Safe Here - Rivermaya
Drama: Spirits
Country: Philippines
Lyrics: http://www.elyrics.net/read/r/rivermaya-lyrics/you_ll-be-safe-here-lyrics.html

I know, I said "fifteen." But even if I don't hum this song that much nowadays, it's still very powerful and LSS-inducing. People might even forget the drama, but this song lives on.
Yes, I like this series... I like Midnight Louie, although at times for a male, he can be rather... shall we say, catty. I also wish I had Temple Barr's shoe collection. And those Fontana brothers!
I cannot say why I am always hip-deep in dames.

Not that I object to said state.

It is just that I am a noir kind of guy, inside and out. My singing voice is more scat than lyrics, and my personal theme song would have to be "There Is Nothing Like A Dame."

I admit it. I am a shameless admirer of the female of the species. Any species. Of course, not all females are dames. Some are little dolls, like my petite roommate, Temple Barr.

The difference between dames and little dolls? Dames can take care of themselves, period. Little dolls can take care of themselves also, but they are not averse to letting the male of the species think that they have an occasional role in the Master Plan too.
In actual fact, Susan did not find the sight at all sinister. In the mellow summer sunshine, nestled cozily among emerald grass, the black stones had a certain bizarre charm. "Pah," I said. "I wouldn't go out with Adrian Cook if he was dipped in gold and covered in fivers."
Izzie gave me a disapproving look. "Nesta. Covered in fivers? You mean, if he was loaded. So what? I don't think how rich or poor a boy is should make the slightest bit of difference. It's who he is, if he's interesting, good company that counts.
"So what if he's cute," asked Izzie, "if he's boring to be with? Just good looks don't count for much after a few dates. You always judge by externals."

The air was soft and warm; a light breeze belled out at the corners of the block and whisked bits of paper, dust, and cellophane from the trash cans. Down the block, framed against the late dazzle of the sunset, Stevie Prokop was waving to him: Come on, come on. Whatever the game was was less important than the getting there, being part of it. For a moment John just stood, poised to run, feeling the June warmth, the breeze, the sights and smells and sounds of the block run through him like fuel. Every building on the street-- the low, dignified brownstones, the blockish granite apartment buildings, even the dark stone church on the corner-- was familiar and loved. Each doorway was filled with possibilities. He felt like he was perched on a special moment.

"Johnny, hey, John!" Stevie called again.

John waved back, grinning. Another minute and he'd run after, join whatever the game was. Another minute. He breathed in deeply, feeling the air stir the inside of his nose and fill his lungs. It tasted of a thousand things: the dank, swampy smell of steam vents; the warm smell of sun on the black locust tree in front of his house; the perfume of the woman who'd just walked past; sun on brick and sun on asphalt; the river smell of the Hudson, and rain not far off. The air tasted like everything, forever.
The teashop was located on one of the dingy discouraged streets on the wrong side of the Thames, not far from Waterloo. Its interior appearance matched the neighborhood. Torn plastic mats failed to conceal the streaked grease on the tabletops, and the floor was strewn with the crumbs of a thousand vanished biscuits. The afternoon sun of September fought its way in through windows begrimed with dust.

It was early in the day for the peculiar meal which only the British could have invented; the hour, and the unprepossessing atmosphere of the shop, perhaps explained why there were only three people in the place: two customers, at a back table, and a drowsy-looking waitress, whose teased blond hairdo was pressed up against the transistor radio which filled the room with the jerky rhythms of modern music.
EASTER MORNING

Inside the windowless Church of Jesus Christ Eternal, the Easter Sunday sermon is drawing to a close. Although Mr. McKinney has been known to preach for two hours or more when thoroughly aroused, services usually end around noon. Thinking that she hears a winding-down tone in his voice, the teenage pianist quickly turns the pages of her hymnal to the closing hymn the preacher selected at the last minute. An odd choice for Easter, she thinks. Not that it is hers to question, but the other hymns celebrated the resurrection while this one harkens back to the cross and is less familiar to her than some.
She has to squint to see the shaped notes because the fluorescent tubes overhead are flickering and buzzing again. She has been told these are cheaper than regular light fixtures, but the flickers hurt her eyes.

Not for the first time, she wonders why they couldn't have windows here in the sanctuary. Surely God's natural light would be so much better? But Dad says Mr. McKinney vetoed colored glass as too costly, and clear glass would rob them of their privacy.
The sounds bothered Meg most. Calling them auditory hallucinations helped a little-- a phenomenon is less alarming when it has a proper, technical name. Meg had always thought of hallucinations as something one saw. She had those, too, but for some illogical reason it was easier for her to accept visual illusions as nonreal than to ignore the hallucinatory sounds. When you were concentrating on typing a letter and a voice said something in your ear, it was impossible not to be distracted.
I read that book while still in my teens, when a friend lent it to me, but it made such an impression that I bought my own copy. It's around here somewhere, buried in my piles of cartons, which I am slowly working my way through and unpacking. The thing is, a lot of her writing can be called purple prose, but there's a certain appeal to it. Maybe it's the heroes. And the heroines. Maybe it's the plots. Despite my having moved on to reading books other than romances, I admit I still read a Woodiwiss once in a while-- actually prefer them to most of the other examples of the genre.
You've got Shemaine O'Hearn, a beautiful, red-haired and green-eyed Irish colleen aboard a convict ship bound for the American colonies from England. Despite the fact that she is obviously a young woman of good breeding (read: rich and accustomed to luxury) and keeps insisting that she's innocent and the fiancee of a wealthy lord, she'd been convicted as a thief and is to be sold as an indentured servant.

You've got Morrisa Hatcher, another woman convict aboard the same ship, scheming to have Shemaine injured or killed, for no apparent reason other than she dislikes the girl. You've got Gertrude Fitch, the ship captain's wife, who's happy to oblige Morrisa because she thinks her husband wants Shemaine for himself (and she's right). Shemaine escapes these black-hearted women, however, when the ship docks at the town of Newportes Newes and she's bought by Gage Thornton, a widower looking for a servant to keep house for him and look after his young son. Only, there's another woman, Roxanne Corbin, who's none too pleased about this because she'd already marked out Gage for herself. Some of the people in the town dislike Shemaine simply because she's a convict and because Gage had been accused of murdering his first wife. Others, however, accept and like her, including widow Margaret McGee and the town hunchback and outcast, Cain.

So how do all of these people and circumstances fit together? Who is Shemaine, really? Who is Gage? Who killed Gage's first wife Victoria? What was Shemaine's "crime"? All of that--- you find out as you read the book.

For those who have read Woodiwiss's book Shanna, there's a connection between this book and that one as well, and I don't mean the similarity between the names Shemaine O'Hearn and Shanna Trahern. Although, yeah, that might have something to do with it, it really might. But that's up to you to discover as well.
Haven't gotten around to reading a lot lately, but at least I always have a mealtime book. I read this one mostly for the food descriptions, I promise.
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
