Aiyee, let me tell you. Writing captions for 200+ photos is not fun when they need a lot of correlation and research and you have to do it on a tight deadline. Sorry for not being able to comment back at once on last week's commenters; I hope I've sufficiently remedied that today? :)
Now, since that already took up one fourth of my lunch hour, I'll make this short and sweet again.
This week's teaser comes from an oldie but a goodie. I've been eyeing this book for a while in the bookstore, but it was only last weekend that the price came down to something I can afford.
Today's book takes us to the lands of Ancelstierre and the Old Kingdom, and the world of Garth Nix's Sabriel.
"A breath?" she asked. She didn't want to kiss just any wooden man. He looked nice enough, but he might not be like his looks. A kiss seemed very forward. He might remember it, and make assumptions.
-pp. 214-215, Sabriel by Garth Nix
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
An oldie but a goodie indeed. Hope you are enjoying the book.
here is mine
I'm an oldie but I don't remember this book.Hope it's working for you. Have a great week!
Ooooh. Sabriel. I have read another of Garth Nix's series, but not this one.
I have two teasers this week!
Nice teaser. Never want to lead someone on!
My teaser is here.

Great blog design by the way. Its very inviting.
Great teaser, very classic. Mine is at The Crowded Leaf.
I liked that whole series when I read it a few years ago. Mine is also from a fantasy. My teaser is from Naamah's Curse by Jacqueline Carey.
Great teaser! My teaser this week comes from a short story collection called The Name of the Nearest River by Alex Kava. It also includes a link to a giveaway of last week's Tuesday Teaser Title (Damaged by Alex Kava). Here's the link. I love the layout you have here, by the way. Very unique!
Oh, I remember loving this book and forcing it upon many of my friends/family (most of whom loved it, too).
My teaser is here.
Just how lively is this wooden man? Well, lively or not, she would probably never be able to look him in the eye again.
Hi there! :) I've seen this around but I haven't tried reading it yet. Will have to make a note. :D Thanks for visiting :D
This looks great! Hope you will check out my teaser on My Blog too!
Intriguing! Great Teaser! My Teaser is here.
