I love mysteries that have to do with books. Don't you? It's part of the reason I enjoy reading Carolyn Hart's Death on Demand mysteries; I try to catch all the allusions to different books in the mystery genre, ranging from Agatha Christie to Dorothy L. Sayers to more contemporary authors.
Anyway, I only recently discovered the series from which the book containing today's teaser was taken. I like the titles of the books in the series; they all start with the prefix "un." I got intrigued by the concept and thought I'd try it, and got hooked. It revolves about a guy who runs a publishing house and gets involved in all these mysteries that are connected with old and rare books; since my own job is in publishing and also involves contact at one time or another with old and rare books, it's not so far-fetched for me to imagine all sorts of mysteries in connection with them as well!
Today's teaser is taken from Unprintable, a Booklover's Mystery by Julie Kaewert.
"As I let the heavy door of the Press swing shut behind me, I acknowledged a strong sense of disquiet. It was true that things had an odd way of connecting in the book-publishing world; it has always been an incestuous business."

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
