Wow, how time flies. 'Tis Tuesday once again. I've been feeling under the weather nowadays, so sorry for not being able to comment back on people's teasers last week. :( It has been a perfectly odious two weeks so far. Actually looking forward to Holy Week so I can crash *looks around furtively in case friendly neighborhood priest is around and delivers a lecture on the virtues of Lent.*

Coincidentally, I picked up this little Madeleine L'Engle book last weekend while waiting to meet a friend, and since it's Lent, the material seemed strangely apt. Here L'Engle is in fine form again about spirituality without being preachy, and about metaphysical musings without being too pompously self-conscious. Camilla Dickinson has been likened to Holden Caulfield... but I think I like her better. LOL. So today's teaser is from "Camilla" by the late great Madeleine L'Engle.

"Too many of us let our suns go out." Mona took off her glasses, looked at me without them, and put them on again. "The main thing is to care. As long as you care, your sun hasn't gone out. Though sometimes, you can care so much, you can desire so much more than you can ever reach, that your burning sun can consume you utterly."
-p.170, "Camilla," by Madeleine L'Engle

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
