Well! First of all, thanks to everyone who's been reading this blog (even though they may not have been commenting XD). I kind of miss writing, as I've been caught up with some editing stuff lately and have put my stories on hold. So I guess blogs are the only way I can keep my hand in. I've been considering creating a blog that would feature my stories... or should I just put them in here as well?
Anyway, as you all know, I am a sucker for these fantasy books. A friend of mine recently lent me the Percy Jackson and the Olympians books, and I've been reading them. Would you guys believe I tore through the first five books in one sitting? *gulp* I love them. *burp, excuse me* Is there more where that came from? *puppy eyes*
So, without further ado, our teaser for today comes from "Percy and the Lightning Thief," the first in the Olympians series by Rick Riordan.

I loved this book! Just read it myself. I can't read the second one for a while though because I have a lot of ARCs I must pay attention to, but I can't wait to continue the series! My teaser is at The Crowded Leaf.

Fantastic teaser! My son and I love the Percy Jackson series. They are never short of action and over the top humor. :-) I can't wait for the movie next month.
I so have not read this series yet, but that teaser was fantastic! I'm definitely interested now.
@Sarah, @Kaye: I didn't even notice what I was doing, I just wanted to know what would happen next! LOL. Only when I was almost through book five did I realize I'd finished them all. Now I'll have to go back and reread them at a slower pace to savor them.
