As usual I picked up an armload of books in Booksale over the weekend, most of them mysteries. Among them were a couple of Ellis Peters' Brother Cadfael mysteries featuring the Benedectine monk / sleuth.
I am now reading "Summer of the Danes," whence our teaser for today was taken. I haven't really gotten that far into the book... it looks interesting though, as all Brother Cadfael stories are.
"Meanwhile here was Mark, silent and happy at his elbow, the road westward before him, and the sun bright on Owain's pennant of bright hair at the head of the column. What more could any man ask on a fine May morning?"

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

I don't like textspeak, abusive language or personal attacks; if I see those comments I shall delete them. LOLspeak will be optional though :P Please stick to the topic as I shall also delete off-topic comments unless I deem the discussion so interesting I want to keep it.
