Ran out of new reading material... been rereading some of my old books. I am trying to collect all of Tamora Pierce's books, and have completed the Song of the Lioness, The Immortals, Protector of the Small, and Magic Circle. Still looking for Tris' book in the Circle Opens!

Anyway, one of my favorite characters ever would have to be Keladry of Mindelan, Tortall's second lady knight after Alanna the Lioness. My only wish is that Tamora would add to the story and tell me who she ended up with and whether she had any daughters as brave as herself. Oh, and I'm also interested in the fate of her best friend Neal's children as well.

So, today's teaser is from "Lady Knight," the fourth book (I hope not the last) in the Protector of the Small series by Tamora Pierce.
