Sigh. So much has happened in a week. My nagging tummyache turned out to be symptomatic of hepatitis, which means the doctor sentenced me to lab tests and a week of bed rest. Then I spent the whole of today getting lab tests done and waiting for the results so that the doctor can tell me tomorrow what kind I have [since she and the lab keep different business hours].
Anyway, now that I'm finally home and coaxing my recalcitrant tummy to keep dinner down [apparently anorexia is another symptom] I remembered it was Tuesday. Fortunately I have a TBR pile, so I picked something up, one of those impulse buys I made because I read the back cover blurb and found it interesting. Anyway, today's teaser is from Zeus and Co. by David Lee Jones.
"I turned to Erato for more help in the matter, and she explained that her sister Urania had confirmed that since Euterpe was only a spirit, digitizing her just might be possible. Obviously, a three-dimensional human being with weight and substance could not survive digitizing. But spirits would have very small weight and space requirements."

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Interesting teaser... not sure what to make of the names!
