What? It's Tuesday again? May, the hottest month of my year, ensuring water shortages, two baths a day, difficulty in buying ice, electric fan breakdowns, and soaring water and electricity bills. If I can't immerse myself in a tank of water under a running shower, I'd rather hole up in a nice cafe at the mall enjoying the free air conditioning, sipping a cold frappe, and reading a good book.



Speaking of which, today's teaser comes from the latest addition to my retold tales collection. I should be inventorying the lot already as I don't know how many I have now [including the umpteen versions of Tam Lin]! It's by Robin McKinley, who also wrote Deerskin. Guess which tale this book retells!
